{Of these, /oURAAN/ resembleth /URANa/ (the name of a deity in the R.c Veda);
/UDUA/ resembleth /UDDHaVA/ (a hero in the Mahabharata) [and likewise, perhaps, Yoruba deity-name ODUduA]; and
/DAMADARAh/ resembleth /DAMA-uDARA/ (‘Wisdom’ having 7 Pillars, pillars perhaps aequivalents to the trees betwixt which the crawling infant Dama-udara was looped, according to the Upa-Puran.a)} :
{/LAMER/, however, is apparently the same as /LA<oMER/, also spelled as /LAGaMaR/ (Light on the Old Testament from Babel By Albert Tobias Clay. Philadelphia, 1907. pp. 131-2 http://books.google.com/books?id=qBlVAAAAMAAJ&pg=PA132&lpg=PA132&dq= and also http://www.archive.org/stream/lightonoldtesta01claygoog/lightonoldtesta01claygoog_djvu.txt); and
/ALLoRa/ may be the same as /ELLasaR/ [and, perhaps as well, ELLORA in India].}
H^apirti (<elam) as the source of the language of Gnostic literature is indicated by the location of >ah^waz as the religious centre of Manda< faith. Any corresponding names in the the Mahabharata and in the Puran.a-s may have been derived thence, either directly or by way of punning on names.
